Digital intraoral scanning captures a three-dimensional digital image of the teeth and gums using a small handheld device.

It provides fast and comfortable precise measurement without the need for traditional impression material.

It can be used to support treatment planning in many areas, such as dentures, veneers, or clear aligners.

Since no impression material has to sit in the mouth, there's no gagging sensation or unpleasant taste to deal with; if a scan of a particular area doesn't come out right, just that section can be rescanned without repeating the whole process.

Suitability for all treatments above is determined after an in-person examination and clinical assessment.

Who Is It Suitable For?

Digital intraoral scanning is considered for planning treatments such as dentures, crowns, veneers, clear aligners, or smile design.

The specific purpose it will be used for depends on the treatment need.

How Does It Work?

A small scanning tip is moved around the mouth to digitally capture the surface of the teeth and gums.

The resulting 3D model is used for treatment planning and, if needed, lab manufacturing.

How Is The Treatment Performed?

The scanning tip is moved along the teeth and gums inside the mouth.

The images are instantly combined on screen to create a 3D model.

What Should Be Considered Afterward?

No healing process is required; you can resume daily activities immediately after the procedure.
